The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Mio Imada , will enter its 23rd week, "We are powerless, but..." from September 1st. The synopsis and scene cuts have been released.

" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013), the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and his wife, Nobu (1918-1993). It is a "story of love and courage" that will fill you with the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the 23rd week, the radio drama "The Gentle Lion" receives a great response after it is broadcast, but Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) is concerned about Tomiko's (Nanako Matsushima) reaction.
After hearing the story from Nobu (Imada), Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) brings Tomiko to the Yanai household... A few days later, Taka sees the application guidelines for a manga contest in a weekly magazine and, with Nobu's encouragement, decides to give it a try. Taka declares that if he fails, he will quit being a manga artist... And so the story unfolds.
