The first episode of the drama series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (Nippon TV, Saturday 9pm) starring Sho Sakurai was broadcast on July 12th, and started with a shocking development.

The "Occupation Series" began with "Hospital Occupation," set in a huge hospital occupied by a mysterious armed group, and was broadcast in 2023. A sequel, "New Airport Occupation," set in a newly completed airport, was broadcast in 2024. In this episode, Musashi, a detective in the Kanagawa Prefectural Police First Investigative Division's Violent Crimes Unit, is transferred to the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division's Hostage Crime Task Force (BCCT), but gets caught up in another occupancy incident and begins an investigation with new allies.
In the first episode, an armed group wearing monster masks and calling themselves "Ayakashi" takes over "TV Nippon," which is airing a special program for the Tokyo gubernatorial election. They threaten, "We, the monsters, have taken over this broadcasting station. If you stop broadcasting, we will kill all the hostages."
Meanwhile, the kidnapped Ibuki (Kato Seishiro) is confronted by the Blue Demon Yamato (Fuma Kikuchi), who is escaping from a detention center. Yamato demands that Ibuki "abduct a certain person." Immediately afterwards, Amakusa (Sota Ryosuke) and other SAT members arrive at the scene to rescue Ibuki. However, Ibuki is already gone, and two mysterious burnt bodies are left at the scene.
Meanwhile at the TV station, Sakura (Sonin) protects Musashi (Sakurai) and falls to a bullet fired by the Tengu demon... The first broadcast ended with a shocking ending that made viewers say, "No way!"
Also, after the broadcast ended, a project was started where you could download a mask of the armed group's leader, "Hannya", for free on the official website.
