The second season of the TV anime " Dandadan ," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS and TBS from July 3. In the second season, Momo (Ayase Momo) and Okarun(Takakura Ken) head to Jiji's (Jin Enjoji) house in a hot spring town to investigate the incident that happened to his family.
"Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they face the mysterious happenings that appear one after another. The comics have sold over 10 million copies in total. The first season of the TV anime aired on Super Animeism TURBO from October to December 2024.
In the first episode of the second season, episode 13, "This is the Legend of the Giant Snake,"Okarun and Jiji discover a hidden room in Jiji's house, with talismans plastered all over the ceiling, walls, floor, and every surface. At that moment, the intercom suddenly rings, and when they open the front door thinking it is Momo, they find Naki and the other members of the Kito family standing outside. Meanwhile, Momo is attacked by the Kito men in the open-air bath and finds herself in a difficult position.
