Gakken opened a new manga site, "Comic NORA," on June 26. With the theme of "Infinite Fun!", the site will feature works that can be enjoyed by everyone, from junior high and high school students to adults, regardless of genre.
The first batch of original works from the site will include "Bontan Turbulence Edition: Princess Warrior Masamune Arrives!!" (original story by Abegawa Kineko, art by Hashimoto Masae), a sequel to "Princess Warrior Masamune: Bontan!!", which was serialized in Gentosha; "Koi Koiite", an adaptation of Mizuno Mai's children's book "Manyo Koibana ~Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter~" (Gakken) for middle and high school students and comic book by Ito; and a preview of Hayashiya Shizuru's new series "Butchi Gumi ~Yoroshiku Isekai, We are True Warrior Best Friends, Demon-Slaying Buddha-Blooded Righteous Gumi", which depicts the exploits of high school girl delinquents who are transported to another world.
In addition, sample reads of masterpieces previously published under the company's "NORA" label, such as Yoshikazu Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's "Violence Wars," Hoshi Goto's "Strange Tales of the Cloud Tower," and Yoshihisa Tagami's "Naabus Breakdown," will be distributed sequentially.
