Rika Izumi announces marriage to Japanese national soccer team player Taniguchi Shogo

On June 25th, actress Rika Izumi announced on her Instagram (@rika_izumi_) that she had married Japanese national soccer team player Shogo Taniguchi.

Izumi announced, "I apologize for informing you about my personal life, but I would like to announce that I have married Taniguchi Shogo, who I have been in a relationship with for some time."

They continued, "Although we are both inexperienced, we will support each other and continue to work hard. We appreciate your continued support."

Izumi appeared in the TV drama "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" (2003) as Mizuno Ami/Sailor Mercury. Her co-stars in the series, Sawai Miyu as Tsukino Usagi/Sailor Moon, Keiko Kitagawa as Hino Rei/Sailor Mars, Azama Miyu as Kino Makoto/Sailor Jupiter, and Komatsu Ayaka as Aino Minako/Sailor Venus, are now all married, making all of the Sailor Soldiers married.
