Vigilante: Unidentified scarred man's visual revealed

Visuals of the scarred man, an unidentified villain who appears in the TV anime "Vigilante - My Hero Academia ILLEGALS -", an official spin-off of Kohei Horikoshi's popular manga "My Hero Academia (Hiroaka)", have been released. The scarred man, who suddenly appeared in episode 12, was secretly working behind the scenes of the "Trigger Incident", in which Hachisuka was thought to be the mastermind. The scars on his face are memorable, but his face is covered in shadow, making his true identity unclear. It was also revealed that Yashiro Taku will be playing the scarred man.

Yashiro commented, "First of all, I am really happy to have the opportunity to appear in 'Vigilante'. This work features many characters, each with their own way of life and sense of justice. This is why there is drama as they clash and interact, and you can sympathize with each character no matter who they are. However, when it comes to the scarred man, it is still difficult to see that about him. It was a lot of fun to play the role while shaping in my mind who he is and what his goals are."

The singing and dance scenes for the song "Marukane Department Store Song REMIX" by "FeatherHATS", a unit made up of Pop☆Step, Miu, Yuu and others, were also released on YouTube. It was also announced that Pop☆Step's new song "My Hero" will be available on various music distribution services from June 24th.

"Vigilante: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS" is a manga written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Arahito Bete, which was serialized in "Shonen Jump+" from 2017 to 2022. It is an official spin-off of the "My Hero Academia " series, and has been gaining popularity not only in Japan but also overseas.
