Fumiya Takahashi , who is appearing in the NHK morning drama " Anpan " (General Asadora , Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. and others) starring Mio Imada . Takahashi, who plays Kentaro Karashima , a classmate of Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura ) from Tokyo Higher School of the Arts, looked back on his scenes with Nanoka Hara, who plays Meiko, the third daughter of the heroine's family (the Asada family).
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Noriyuki Yanase (1918-1993). It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how the two met, overcame all sorts of rough seas, and arrived at "Anpanman", the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
Kentaro, played by Takahashi, is a classmate of Takashi at Tokyo Higher School of the Arts and hails from Fukuoka. He is a true friend to Takashi, who had no friends when he was young. He went to war before Takashi, but they meet again at the Kokura Regiment.
In the seventh week, a scene was depicted in which Meiko (Nanoka Hara) falls in love with Kentaro, who visits Gomenyo Town in Kochi with Takashi, who is returning home. Takahashi recalls, "The scene where Meiko sings along with Kentaro's guitar was impressive with Hara's crystal clear voice. I was working on it hoping to convey the sparkling atmosphere that only these two can create."
"The first time we acted together was in a scene where Kentaro (Kentaro) told Meiko that she looked like Norakuro, so that scene is very emotional for me. In playing the role of Kentaro, I looked for many reasons to get closer to him so that it wouldn't come off as too obvious. I was staring at Meiko's face while remembering Norakuro's face, and from Meiko's perspective it felt like she was staring at me, which I think is like a comedy about love that passes by each other (laughs)."
