Actor Elaiza Ikeda and Yojiro Noda of the rock band "RADWIMPS" star in the NHK drama series "The Great Passage ~ Watashi, Jisho Tsukurimasu ~" (General TV, Tuesdays at 10pm). According to the synopsis of the second episode, which will air on June 24th, the main character Midori Kishibe, played by Ikeda, feels uncomfortable with the definition of the word "renai" (love). Scene cuts have also been released.

The drama is based on Shion Miura's bestselling novel, and depicts the passion of people working on dictionaries from the perspective of Kishibe Midori (Ikeda), a young editorial staff member who has been transferred to the dictionary editorial department. Noda plays the protagonist of the original novel, Majime Mitsuya, the extremely earnest head of the dictionary editorial department, and stars Osamu Mukai, Shibata Kyohei, Yamoto Yuma, Miura Rie, Iwamatsu Ryo, Watanabe Makiko, and Maeda Oshiro. It has been broadcast on terrestrial TV since June 17th in the network's "Drama 10" slot.
In the second episode, Midori is depressed when Shohei (Nobuyuki Suzuki) leaves, but she takes a step towards making the dictionary thanks to the words of Majime (Noda). Furthermore, she is informed by Miyamoto (Yuma Yamoto) of the paper company that they are making paper specifically for "Odo Kai", and is overwhelmed by the scale of dictionary making.
Meanwhile, Midori feels something is off about the definition of "love." With the support of Majime and Matsumoto-sensei (Kyōhei Shibata), she struggles to come up with her own definition of "love," when she receives an email from her part-time worker, Tendo (Oshiro Maeda)... and so the story unfolds.
