It has been announced that episodes 1 to 11 of the latest installment of the popular anime series "Gundam," "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," will be streamed for free on ABEMA ahead of its final episode. Episodes 1 to 10 will be streamed on June 21 at 7pm, 22 at noon and 5pm, while episodes 1 to 11 will be streamed on the 28th at 6:30pm, 29th at 9am and 4:30pm. The final episode will be streamed on the 29th.
It was also announced that five Universal Century works, Mobile Suit Gundam (The First Gundam), Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, and Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096, will be streamed free of charge from June 19th to July 6th.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which produces the Gundam series, and khara, known for the Evangelion series. Ahead of the broadcast of the TV anime series, a pre-release theatrical version of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, which reconstructs some episodes, began screening on January 17th. The TV anime series is currently being broadcast on 30 Nippon Television affiliates every Tuesday at 12:29am. The pre-release theatrical version will be screened again at 368 cinemas nationwide from June 20th.
