It has recently been revealed that actor Yukito Hidaka, who plays Hayato Isomura , a freshman soldier in the Kokura Regiment in the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan ," will appear in the drama series " We Still Don't Know the School Rules of That Planet" (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10 p.m.), which begins on July 14 and stars Hayato Isomura.
"We Still Don't Know the School Rules of That Planet" is a school human drama about the protagonist, Kenji Shiratori, who is timid and clumsy in everything because of his unique sensibility, who is dispatched as a school lawyer to a private high school that is in the midst of becoming a coeducational school due to the declining birthrate, and who desperately faces the youth of young people whose problems cannot be easily solved by law or school rules. The script is written by Mika Omori, who has also written "Asa ga Kita" and "Seiten wo Tsuke".
Hidaka plays Takano Yoshinori, a third-year student in the Aoi class at Hama Solaris High School, where the drama is set and where a boys' school and a girls' school have just been merged. He is the president of the student council and is trusted by the teachers. He is a member of the judo club and has an overly honest personality that hates crooked things, so he sometimes gets depressed and thinks negatively. He is a surprisingly romantic character...
Hidaka said, "Through this production, I learned that there is a profession called a 'school lawyer.' I think that for problematic students, having even one more adult they can rely on provides a great sense of security. When I read the script, I was struck by the detailed portrayal of the emotional turmoil that high school students go through as they try to open up to others during their impressionable years, and the attitude of the adults who try their best to respond to those feelings. I'm really looking forward to acting it out and seeing it shaped into a film."
Hidaka, who is now 21 years old, also said, "My high school years coincided with the coronavirus pandemic, and school events were canceled, so I went through days not knowing where to direct my frustration and anger. That's why I feel a little envious that students have the environment to talk to at school. Once again, I am very happy to be able to participate in this production with such wonderful people. Through the role of Takano, I would like to create a production that will leave a warm feeling in everyone's hearts."
