The 23rd episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , titled "I Am the One Who Lives in Edo", was broadcast on June 15th, and viewers responded to a certain scene in the preview for the next episode that was released after the main story.
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
The next, 24th episode, titled "Nihonbashi is Unusually Beautiful" will be broadcast on June 22nd.
With the support of the Yoshiwara merchants, Tsutaju (Yokohama) begins preparations to buy a shop in Nihonbashi, but Maruya's boss (AI Hashimoto) does not accept Tsutaju, a Yoshiwara merchant, and refuses to sell the shop.
Tsutaju asks Tosaku (Kimura Ryo) and Shigemasa (Jun Hashimoto) if there is any solution... Meanwhile, Daresode (Haruka Fukuhara Hio Miyazawa Hio) then connects Tosaku and Hirotoshi (Hyoroku) and tries to tempt them with a direct deal for amber.
The main broadcast of this episode on the general channel will start at 7:14 pm, 46 minutes earlier than usual, due to the early vote count for the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election that was held on the same day.
The trailer shows "Yoshiwara men" such as Surugaya Ichiuemon (Katsumi Takahashi) and Ogiya Uemon (Yamaji Kazuhiro) crossing a bridge side by side with the caption "Let's buy up Nihonbashi at a low price," and also includes the line, "We'll get in tomorrow."
