To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of the film "NANA" (2005, directed by Otani Kentaro), starring singer Nakashima Mika and actress Aoi Miyazaki, a revival screening of the first digital version has been announced for the first time at White Cine Quinto (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) in Shibuya, Tokyo, from July 11th.
"NANA" is a coming-of-age story based on the popular comic of the same name by Ai Yazawa. It depicts the meeting of two seemingly opposite Nanas, living together in Tokyo, love and friendship at the age of 20, and dreams and reality. Nakajima plays Osaki Nana, a charismatic band vocalist aiming for a major debut, while Miyazaki plays Komatsu Nana, a cute, ordinary girl who puts love first.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the film's release. To mark this milestone, the film will be packaged for digital cinema release for the first time, and will be shown digitally for the first time. Details such as the screening schedule will be posted on the theater's website as soon as they are confirmed.
