On June 11th, the married couple Idota Jun of the comedy duo "Speedwagon" and model Ami Hachiya attended the "Table Mark Katokichi Sanuki Udon PR Event" held in Tokyo. This was the first time they appeared at an event together, and they put on a perfect back-and-forth like a husband-and-wife comedy duo.
Idota, who was dressed as the "Sanuki Udon Master," appeared on stage with high spirits, saying, "It's me! It's Sanuki Udon!" Next, Hachiya, who was introduced as the "Sanuki Udon Wife," took the stage and said with a smile, "I wonder when I became the wife of the Sanuki Udon Master."
Furthermore, Idota touched Hachiya's nose and said jokingly, "Oh! Sorry about that. I need to get the powder off," to which Hachiya replied, "No, I'm not Sanuki udon!", and they performed an impromptu husband-wife comedy act. Idota said with a shy laugh, "We've just had this much to discuss at home," and Hachiya replied, "I was made to practice in the morning," showing just how close they are.
At the end of the event, the couple performed an original gag in perfect harmony, "2626! Smooth! Sanuki udon." Idota commented, "This was our first joint effort since cutting the wedding cake," making the audience laugh.
