The latest work in the popular anime series "Gundam", "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", will participate in the largest anime event in the US, "Anime Expo 2025", which will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3rd to 6th. It has been announced that a talk show will be held on July 3rd with director Kazuya Tsurumaki and voice actor Tomoyo Kurosawa, who plays the main character Amate Yuzuriha (Machu), and that Shimba Tsuchiya, who plays Shuuji Ito, Shinji Kawada, who plays Sharia Bull, and Yuki Shin, who plays Char Aznable, will also be on stage. The event will be streamed live on Gundam's official YouTube channel "Gundam Channel" and other channels.
An autograph session with staff and cast members will be held on July 4. The film will also be exhibited in the Bandai Namco Group exhibition area.
They will also be participating in Japan Expo 2025, France's largest Japanese culture event, which will be held at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from July 3 to 6. Tsurumaki, series composer and scriptwriter Enokido Youji, and design works and storyboard artist Maeda Masahiro will appear at a panel event on July 6, and a joint autograph session for the "Evangelion" series and "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX" will be held on the same day.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which produces the Gundam series, and khara, known for the Evangelion series. Ahead of the broadcast of the TV anime series, a pre-release theatrical version of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, which reconstructs some episodes, began screening on January 17th. The TV anime series is currently being broadcast on 30 Nippon Television affiliates every Tuesday at 12:29am. The pre-release theatrical version will be screened again at 368 cinemas nationwide from June 20th.
