The official trailer for the latest film in the popular anime series "Crayon Shin-chan : Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Hot! The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers" (directed by Masakazu Hashimoto, scheduled for release on August 8th), the 32nd film in the series, has been released on YouTube. The latest film is set in India for the first time in the series' history, and follows the plot as Bo-chan accidentally sticks a piece of paper from a backpack that resembles the shape of a nose into his nose, and is led by an evil power to transform into a tyrant (Bo-kun). The trailer shows Bo-chan looking intently at the camera and revealing his desires, saying, "What do you know about me? I'm not going to let my nose run anymore!"
The trailer starts with a dance scene of "Maharaja Bo", where Bo-chan dances in a Maharaja-style costume on a gorgeous stage. In stark contrast to the usual quiet and calm Bo-chan, the trailer also includes a scene where she says, "This is who I really am," with sharp eyebrows and eyes. Scenes of characters such as the super elite detective duo Kabir and Dil, and the Indian billionaire Wolf, singing and dancing are depicted, and at the end, Ariana asks Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force, "What does it mean to be Bo-chan?"
It was also announced that the band "Saucy Dog" will be performing the theme song "Spice," and the song was unveiled in the trailer. The song was written by vocalist Shinya Ishihara, who has loved "Crayon Shin-chan" since he was a child. Ishihara said, "When I was little, I had a lot of fun with my everyday life, which was nothing special, and I wrote "Spice" with the feeling that I want to live my life without forgetting that excitement no matter what happens in the future."
Director Hashimoto said that he asked Saucy Dog to "go with his instincts" when writing the song, and that he wanted to "make it seem like the children's story doesn't end with the ending of the movie, but continues on. I always want Crayon Shin-chan's story to end with a feeling that it continues." He gave the completed song "Spice" his stamp of approval, saying, "The lyrics and gentle melody are in keeping with the theme of the movie. It's a really wonderful song that leaves the aftertaste of the movie deep and warm."
A poster visual was also released depicting Shinnosuke and friends jumping in Indian-style costumes, with the tagline "Awaken! Indian Power!"
The latest work is a dance entertainment movie set in India, where Nohara Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Defense Force dance and dance. The Kasukabe Defense Force came to India to participate in an entertainment festival and enjoyed sightseeing in India, but when they found a backpack that resembled the shape of a nose in a suspicious general store, Bo-chan was led by an evil power and became a "tyrant (Bo-kun)" and went on a rampage... That's the story. Shinnosuke and his friends try to stop Bo-chan, who has obtained a threatening power that could shake the world.
The film will be directed by Hashimoto, who has worked on the Crayon Shin-chan-chan series including "Honeymoon Hurricane: The Lost Hiroshi" and "Mononoke Ninja Chinpuden," and written by Kimiko Ueno, who has worked with Hashimoto on a number of Crayon Shin-chan films. The film will be released in theaters in India in late October.
