The sixth episode of the Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Second to Last Love 3 " (Mondays at 9pm), starring Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai , aired on May 19th. Yoshiko Mita (83) appeared as Yuriko, the mother of Chiaki (Koizumi), and became a hot topic on social media.

Yuriko lives with her husband Takashi (Ogura Soga). She lies to Chiaki that Takashi is unwell and tries to get her to return home. Chiaki knows that Yuriko is lying, but decides to return home to her hometown, pretending that Wahei (Nakai) is her "common-law lover".
Seeing Takashi's reaction, Chiaki remarked, "Such a lively person was muttering 'I want to see you, I want to see you' like an idiot," to which Yuriko denied it, saying, "Did I say that?"
"You know, there's this feeling that I can't die," said Yuriko. Together with 38 of her friends, she saves 10,000 yen each year into a joint account, and "it will belong to the last surviving person. It'll be almost 30 years. It's over 10 million. I can't die. I feel like I can't die, after coming this far. I simply don't want to die first, and that's important," she said.
That night, upon hearing Chiaki's voice having a pleasant conversation with Wahei, Yuriko said with satisfaction, "She seems fine. She's my daughter after all. She looks like she's having fun!"
On social media, comments such as "Mita Yoshiko is perfect as Chiaki's mother," "It makes sense that Mita Yoshiko is going to play Chiaki's mother lol, funky," "Mita Yoshiko is excellent casting as Chiaki's mother," and "Mita Yoshiko is just as you would imagine her to be a mother" were posted and the story became a hot topic.
