Actor Fuka Koshiba stars in the second season of NHK's BS period drama "Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin 2" (NHK BS Premium 4K, Sunday 6:45 pm). The subtitle of the final episode (episode 8) aired on May 25th is "Gosuzuya's Critical Moment," and the synopsis and scene cuts have also been released.

"Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin" is set in the mid-Edo period and depicts the common people who work hard and use their wits to succeed in business, while incorporating a variety of customs. In Season 1, which aired in 2023, the main character Sachi (Koshiba) marries Tomozo (Leo Matsumoto), the sixth-generation owner of Gosuzuya, and begins selling "Hamahabutae" from New Year's as a desperate plan to revive the struggling Gosuzuya.
Season 2 is the "Edo Edition." It begins immediately after Season 1, with Sachi and Chizo expanding the store and realizing the dream of the previous owner of Gosuzuya, to open a store in Edo, but Sachi is hit by a series of sad events.
In the final episode, Gosuzu-ya, whose Suzu Komon fabrics had become popular, loses customers due to the measles epidemic. However, Gosuzu-ya, which caters to customers who want to sell Suzu Komon fabrics by the piece to be used as headbands to ward off illness, becomes very popular after the epidemic. One day, Sachi (Koshiba) is invited to an Ebisu sect meeting, and accompanied by Yui (Nagasawa Itsuki), they encounter Masugoya (Takashima Masanobu), a real money exchanger. After that, Yui is proposed to... At that time, Gosuzu-ya receives a notice to pay a large amount of tribute.
When Sachi visits a money exchanger to seek advice, she is reunited with the missing Soji (Kato Shigeaki)... and so the story unfolds.
