It has been announced that the movie version of the TV anime "Zombie Land Saga," with the themes of zombies, Saga, idols and comedy, "Zombie Land Saga Yumeginga Paradise," will be released on October 24th. A Teaser trailer was released, revealing that the movie will depict the "2025 Saga Expo." The members of the idol group "Franchouchou" were preparing to put on the best stage as ambassadors for the Expo when "something" that threatens humanity approaches, and the survival of Saga is entrusted to Franchouchou... This is the story, and it will be an unprecedented galaxy festival movie.
The trailer shows scenes of people roaring in fear of the survival of Saga, old men dancing, a crumbling city, and explosions. At the end, Yamada Tae appears with a powerful gaze. A teaser visual was also released, depicting the seven members of Franchouchou in zombie form jumping out of Saga into space, along with the gigantic Saga Expo pavilion.
The first set of special bonus movie ticket cards will go on sale on May 2nd. The bonuses include eight types of "Galaxy Oshikatsu Uchiwa" fans, each featuring the seven members of Franchouchou and producer Tatsumi Kotaro.
Ahead of the release of the movie, it was also announced that a Blu-ray box set containing all 12 episodes of the second season of the TV anime "Zombie Land Saga Revenge" will be released on August 27th. The bonus disc will include a special edited version of the live performance "Zombie Land Saga LIVE ~Franchouchou Minna Deora!~ in SAGA" held in July 2019 at Furusato Kaikan Alpino (Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture). The price is 26,400 yen.
"Zombie Land Saga" is an original anime that depicts girls who have become zombies aiming to become top idols in Saga. The first season aired from October to December 2018, and the second season aired from April to June 2021.
