The 16th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) was broadcast on April 21st. At the end of the episode, Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura) accidentally overhears a conversation between Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) and Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa), which caused a reaction from viewers.
In the 16th episode, Nobu (Imada), who has found her dream, begins studying hard to pass the entrance exam for a women's normal school, but her grades are not good and she is troubled. Similarly, Takashi is scolded by Chiyoko (Naho Toda) who saw her report card. However, when Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) asks Takashi to help Nobu with her studies, Takashi cannot refuse and accepts.
At the end of the film, one night, as Taku, struggling with mathematics (which he is not good at), goes out into the hallway, he hears voices coming from Hiroshi's study. Hiroshi asks Chihiro, "Maybe you gave up on becoming a doctor because of Taku? If Taku became the successor, he would be well-liked as the eldest son in this family. That's what you thought, wasn't it?" Taku happens to overhear the conversation and has a complicated look on his face.
On social media, people were saying things like, "Eavesdropping is a specialty of Asadora!", "Uncle Hiroshi has such good intuition," "He's jealous of Chihiro and feeling depressed about his own incompetence," "It really brings out his inferiority complex," and "What, are you reading too much into it?! But it seems possible that Chihiro would think that..."
