An event to celebrate the final episode of the TV anime " Blue Box ," based on the popular manga by Kouji Miura currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), began in Shibuya, Tokyo on March 24th. The event was held to celebrate the broadcast of the final episode on TBS on March 27th, and Shibuya was completely colored with " Blue Box." It will continue until March 30th.
A huge "Blue Box" appeared in the Shibuya 109 storefront event space. A huge monument photo spot of the main characters was set up. The "Box" was designed with Taiki Inomata, Chinatsu Kano, and Hina Chono. Class newspaper style flyers were also distributed.
At the entrance event space of MAGNET by SHIBUYA109, there will be a big board with original illustrations of Chinatsu and Hina, and a photo spot with a clubroom locker motif. The lockers and chairs are also "blue", with attention to detail. Mirrors will also be installed so you can enjoy taking selfies.
Famous scenes and quotes from characters will be displayed on nine street boards around Shibuya Station, and a special movie will be screened at KEIO MIRARERU VISION Shibuya Megawall. There will also be a campaign where you can win original items by taking a photo of the photo spot or poster, posting it on X (Twitter) with the hashtag "Shibuya Aohako," and showing the posted screen at the SHIBUYA109 Shibuya store event space. Gifts vary depending on the day of the week.
"Blue Box" began serialization in April 2021 in "Weekly Shonen Jump." Set at Sakae High School, a powerhouse of sports throughout junior and senior high school, the story is about a youthful club love story in which Inomata Taiki Inomata, a member of the boys' badminton club, falls in love with Chinatsu Kano Chinatsu, a senior member of the girls' basketball club. The anime stars Shoya Chiba as Inomata Taiki Inomata and Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano . It is produced by Telecom Animation Film. It airs on TBS every Thursday at 11:56 pm.
