It has been announced that Yoshino Aoyama will be appearing as a voice actor in the TV anime "Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi, " based on the popular manga by Hirakawa Aya currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). Aoyama will play Mikado Miwa, the third daughter of the Mikado family and a first-year student in the preparatory department of Saika Academy, a genius in the arts. Miwa is a rising star in the world of shogi, breaking records one after another as the youngest player to do so. Because she is such a genius, she is feared by those around her. Although she has a superhuman intellect, she can also be surprisingly lonely.
A special program showing the four cast members, including Aoyama, meeting for the first time will be released on YouTube on March 17th.
The series has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" since December 2021. It is a home-love comedy about the cohabitation of the three Mikano sisters, who are geniuses in literature, martial arts, and the arts, and Ayayo Yu, an ordinary person who is below average in all areas. The anime is directed by Matsubayashi Yuito and produced by PAWORKS. Hinata Minami will voice the main character, Ayayo Yu. It will air in 2025.
