The 14th episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9pm), entitled "The Tribulations of Nakazono Teruo", aired on February 5th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 10.4% for households and 5.9% for individuals.
"Aibou" is a detective drama in which Ukyo Sugishita (Yutaka Mizutani), a member of the Metropolitan Police Department's "Special Investigation Unit," solves many difficult cases with his partner, using his genius mind to solve his case. Since its launch in 2000, four partners have been created to date: Kameyama Kaoru (Yasufumi Mitsuhiro Oikawa), Kobe Takeru (Mitsuhiro Oikawa), Kai Toru (Hiroki Narimiya), and Kanjo Wataru (Takashi Sorimachi). In "Season 21," Kaoru, the original partner, returns to the Special Investigation Unit. This marks the 10th season for Ukyo and Kaoru as a pair.
Mayuko Nishiyama made a guest appearance in episode 14.
Teruo Nakazono (Ryo Ono), counselor of the Criminal Affairs Department of the Metropolitan Police Department, suddenly disappears. The head of the Criminal Affairs Department, Uchimura (Ryuji Katagiri), believes that Nakazono, who became pessimistic about his future due to his advice, impulsively disappeared, and orders the Special Investigation Unit to search for him.
As the investigation progresses, it becomes clear that there are disturbing rumors between Nakazono and Yuki Eriko (Nishiyama), the owner of the bonsai class that Nakazono has begun attending...
