The film was released on December 20, 2024, and has been a hit, recording the highest box office revenue of the theatrical version series. A 4DX version has also been screened since January 31st.
As the eighth gift for attendees, illustration cards with original scripts (2 types in total) will be distributed from February 7th. The cards feature illustrations along with the script for the sequel to the movie, written by Yuko Ishiyama, one of the scriptwriters for the TV series "Nintama Rantaro." There are two types in total: "The Story of Superstar Hirataki Yashamaru" and "The Story of the Dokutake Ninjas Afterwards."
