The stage event lineup for AnimeJapan 2025, one of the world's largest anime events, was announced on January 17th. In addition to the RED Stage, GREEN Stage, and BLUE Stage, a new WHITE Stage will be added this time, with a total of 52 programs lined up over the two days of March 22nd and 23rd. Events for popular works such as "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," the "Gundam" series, "The Apothecary Diaries," and "Jujutsu Kaisen" will be held, as well as a collaboration stage between the movie version of "Detective Conan" and "Denki no Samurai YAIBA," and a star-studded cast will appear.
On March 22nd, events will be held for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu Rascal Does Not Dream Does Not Dream of Santa Claus," "Kaiju No. 8, " "Oshi no Ko," "My Hero Academia," "One Piece," "SAKAMOTO DAYS," "Space Battleship Yamato ," and more. Mother and daughter Han Keiko and Megumi Han will appear on the " Space Battleship Yamato " stage.
On March 23rd, the lineup will include " Jujutsu Kaisen," "The Apothecary Diaries," "Re:Zero," the Gundam series, a collaboration stage between the movie "Detective Conan" and "Shin Samurai Den YAIBA," "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube," "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and "CITY THE ANIMATION," and "Chainsaw Man: Resee Arc."
In addition to the 52 stage events, there will be various events such as the sale of official goods using the characters in the key visuals, the "Production Works Gallery" exhibition focusing on animation production, cosplay events, food corners, etc. The popular event "2025 Manga Rankings to be Animeized" has also started.
AnimeJapan is an event that began in 2014, and this will be its 12th time being held. Following on from the previous event which recorded over 130,000 visitors, the next event will be held on the largest scale yet at East Exhibition Halls 1-8 and the Conference Tower at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo). A record 117 companies will exhibit, including Aniplex, KADOKAWA, and TOHO animation. Public days will be on March 22nd and 23rd, business days on March 24th and 25th, and the "Family Anime Festa 2025" for families and kids will be held on March 22nd and 23rd. Idol group "Sakurazaka46" will serve as ambassadors for the event.
