A program focusing on NHK's Taiga dramas set in the Sengoku period, "Taiga Drama Famous Scenes Special: Reviving Sengoku Warlords," will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 7:20 p.m. on January 2nd.
The program will feature the Sengoku period historical drama. Naoto Takenaka, who has played the role of Toyotomi Hideyoshi twice in historical dramas, will appear as the special MC. He will talk about his feelings for Hideyoshi. Other actors from "What Will Ieyasu Do?" and "Naotora, the Lady Castle Lord" will also reveal behind-the-scenes stories.
In addition, there will be a section where you can compare famous scenes featuring women connected to the Toyotomi family and how incidents related to the Toyotomi family have been portrayed in previous taiga dramas. The program will also introduce the highlights of "Toyotomi Brothers!", which starts on the 4th, along with interviews with the lead actors.
