The 60th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Akari Takaishi , was broadcast on December 19th, and at the end, Toki (played by Takaishi) received a letter from an unexpected person, causing a wave of surprise from viewers.
In episode 60, Toki visits Daiouji Temple to listen to the ghost story "The Woman Who Buys Starch Candy" for Heaven ( Tommy Bastow).
At the Hanada Inn, Toki is at the height of his happiness, telling Heita (Namase Katsuhisa) and the others about the joy he feels when he tells ghost stories to Heaven every night. One day, Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa) comes to Toki and asks him to tell a ghost story for Heaven. Toki is happy that he has already started telling ghost stories, but he is conflicted when Nishikori tells him that the more ghost stories he tells, the sooner Heaven will leave Japan.
Towards the end of the film, a letter arrives at the Matsuno household. Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki) is surprised and says, "Isn't this the first time I've received a letter from Toki?" When she looks at the sender, she sees the name of Toki's former husband, Ginjiro (Kanichiro)...
In the preview for next week's episode, which was released after the main story ended, Ginjiro is seen saying, "I want to start over with Otoki-chan." Furthermore, Eliza (Charlotte Kate Fox), the person in Heaven's treasured photo, also appears, suggesting that the story will move forward at a rapid pace.
Comments on social media included, "What a shock for Ginjiro!", "Will Ginjiro be making a reappearance next week?", "I'm surprised that Ginjiro is coming back," "I never thought Ginjiro would make a reappearance in this way and I'm so surprised I'm speechless," "Everything was blown away at the end," and "I-I have a feeling things are going to get complicated..."
