The final episode of the fifth season of the TV drama series " Emergency Interrogation Room " starring Yuki Amami (TV Asahi, Thursdays at 9 PM) will air on December 18th. Continuing from the previous week, the episode will be six minutes longer.
During a shooting training session at the police academy under the supervision of instructor Takahiro Takigawa (Tetsuji Tamayama), student Kentaro Miyamoto ( Kazuya Ohashi) fired a gun at his classmate Minami Nakazato (Maria Mori). Yukiko Makabe (Amami) and the other members of the "Emergency Incident Response Investigation Team (commonly known as Kintori)" interrogate the arrested Miyamoto, but are unable to find out the reason for the shooting.
The students who were present also insisted that they "didn't see anything." The investigation seemed to have hit a dead end, but it was later discovered that Miyamoto had been holding a gun in a manner that schools don't teach. It was the stance of the Special Task Force (SAT), Takigawa's former unit.
Yukiko has a hunch that Miyamoto's target is not Minami, but Takigawa... and with the help of Yamagami Yoshiharu (Kudo Asuka), a member of the First Investigative Division who once worked with Kintori, she investigates Takigawa's past.
In order to get to the bottom of the whole picture, Yukiko interrogates Takigawa and presents his hypothesis. However, Takigawa speaks of his beliefs as an instructor and asserts that "I have absolutely no recollection of any student being dissatisfied." Yukiko continues to pursue the matter with unwavering conviction, leading to an extremely brutal interrogation.
Kintori's former teammates, Ikoma Ami (Manami Higa) and Sakai Torazo (Nomaguchi Toru), from the First Investigation Division, join them as helpers, and they launch an all-out investigation. What is the shocking truth?
