The drama series "Good Things and Bad Things" (NTV, Saturdays at 9pm) stars actors Mamiya Shotaro and Araki Yuko in the lead roles. The synopsis and stills from episode 8, which will air on December 6th, have been released.
A serial murder case begins when a time capsule is dug up for the first time in 22 years. Takagi Masaru (Mamiya), Saruhashi Sonoko (Araki), and Koyama Takahiro (Shintaro Morimoto) pursue the truth, with the help of Tsuchiya Yuki (Ayame Goriki) and Toyokawa Kengo (Inaba Yu). Takagi and his friends suddenly remember that there was another member in the group of six friends who were the targets.
Takagi and his friends learn that the person in question, "Doctor" Mori Tomoya, holds a grudge against them, so they head out to rescue Hatachi Taisuke (Mori Yusaku), who had gone to meet Mori alone. However, they are unable to capture Mori, and Hatachi's life is taken.
Takagi and his friends are questioned by detective Utsumi (Subaru Kimura), but because they haven't seen the culprit's face clearly, they can't be sure it's Mori, and can only give vague answers. The only other clue is a DVD taken from the time capsule. There's no doubt that the video of everyone talking about their dreams contains something the culprit wouldn't want others to see, but they don't know where the DVD is...
After the questioning, Takagi leaves his friends and heads to a certain location, where he encounters a shocking truth. The truth about the former Class 6-1, which everyone had overlooked, is revealed.
The drama is a mystery that explores the suspicious death of a classmate from elementary school. The script is written by Gaku Kawasaki, who has worked on "Betrayal Meals in a Place Like This" (Chukyo TV). The directors are Shunsuke Kariyama, who has worked on "Brush Up Life" (Nippon TV), Kengo Takimoto, who worked on the film "Kaibutsu of Love," and Shinya Nagano.
