In his second year with the Yomiuri Giants, in a legendary game watched by the Emperor, with the score tied, in the bottom of the ninth inning, as the time for the Emperor to leave the stadium drew near, Nagashima stepped up to bat... Always committed to "playing captivating baseball," Nagashima hit a home run dedicated to his fans on his final day as a player. Storyteller Kanda Haruhi passionately recounts the moving story behind these three home runs.
