The sixth episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 24" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9 PM) titled "Tea Royale" will be broadcast on November 19th. Kenichi Yajima will be making a guest appearance.
Special Investigation Unit members Ukyo (Yutaka Mizutani) and Kaoru (Yasuhito Terawaki) are instructed by Chief of Detective Uchimura (Ryuji Katagiri) to investigate whether a report made on social media is criminal. They then discover a case in which a daughter in her 50s who had not registered the death of her father after his sudden death continued to receive his pension. This leads to Ukyo and Kaoru being thrust into various investigations.
Meanwhile, Ukyo takes notice of a dance video that has mysteriously stopped being updated, causing a stir among fans. Upon starting an investigation, he discovers that the man who uploaded the video has already been murdered.
A man named Magozaki (played by Yajima) was tasked with handling the aftermath of the incident. Magozaki is a "crime expert" who intervenes in other people's troubles and makes a profit, even if it means resorting to illegal means. He currently runs a coffee shop, but has returned to the underworld at the invitation of a former colleague.
While Magosaki and his team plot to make it appear as if the victim is still alive, Ukyo and Kaoru suspect that some kind of crime has occurred and continue their own investigation. A quiet battle of wits begins with the meticulous and cunning legendary detective!
The script was written by Mano Katsunari and the director was Anyoji Takumi.
