The sixth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring Satoshi Tsumabuki , aired on November 16th. Viewers were touched by the scene in which Nakajo Koichi, the illegitimate son of Kozo ( Koichi Sato ), played by Ren Meguro of the popular group Snow Man, cheered on the racehorse "Royal Hope" in its final race.

Kozo, who was diagnosed with cancer, announced that he and Royal Hope would retire after the 2018 Arima Kinen. Meanwhile, Kurisu (Tsumabuki) told Koichi about Kozo's illness and retirement, begging him to please meet with the president. Two days before the Arima Kinen, he tried to invite Koichi to a special place, Nakayama Racecourse, in the morning, but Koichi ultimately did not show up.
On the day of the Arima Kinen, Kozo watches Hope's final race from the hospital. Meanwhile, Koichi is at Nakayama.
In the pouring rain, Royal Hope took off immediately after the start and took the lead. Soaked in the rain, Koichi calmly watched the race unfold, saying, "If we keep going like this, we won't make it to the end." Finally, Valshalle caught up with Hope, and Imagine Dragon caught up, causing a roar from the stands.
Koichi shouted at the top of his lungs, "Go!" and Kozo, who was in his hospital room, and Kurisu, who was in Nakayama, simultaneously shouted "Go!" in passionate support.
After the race, Kurisu received a message from Koichi saying, "I'd love to meet you someday," which sparked discussion on social media with comments such as, "Koichi's 'Gooooooo' was intense. I was seriously moved," "Koichi's 'Gooooooo' really hit me!", "Koichi cheering on Hope with all his might while soaking wet was the best... Hope's last run was so moving," "Koichi soaked in the rain - let me just say this, he looked so cool," and "Koichi's expression as he cheered on Royal Hope was the best. Even though he didn't say any lines, his expression expressed everything that was in Koichi's heart."
The story is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuma Hayami. Kurisu admired her father, who was a tax accountant, and followed in his footsteps, but she experienced setbacks and lost hope. However, her life takes a major turn when she meets Kozo Sanno, a horse owner.
