The sixth episode of the drama series "Fake Mummy" (TBS, Fridays at 10pm), starring actors Haru and Rina Kawaei, aired on November 14th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 4.8% for households and 2.8% for individuals.
This work is a TV drama adaptation of "Fake Mommy" by Sonomura Mitsuru, the winner of the first grand prize in the "TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE," a competition to discover and nurture screenwriters. The story is about a former career woman who is looking for a new job, played by Haru, who pretends to be the mother of a former delinquent company president who is now a single mother, played by Kawaei.
Episode 6 was titled "Fake Mom Temporarily On Shutdown! Confessions to Mom Friends and Mother as the Truth Closes in." Kaoru (Haru) takes a three-day break from her "fake mom" duties to accompany her mother, Seiko (Mariko Tsutsui), to the hospital for tests after a fall. Kaoru is happy that Seiko and Ryuma (Koji Koji Mukai Tanaka) happens to see her calling him "Hanamura-san" at the hospital... and so the story unfolds.
