Actor Takako Matsu appeared at the EX THEATER ROPPONGI (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on July 14th for the preview screening and cast event for the drama she stars in, "Shiawase na Kekkon" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), which starts on the 17th, along with lead actor Sadao Abe, co- Rihito Itagaki, Takashi Okabe and Danta Yasunori. The cast appeared in cool traditional Japanese attire.
This time, Abe and Matsu are playing a married couple for the third time. Matsu commented on the filming, "I've worked with him a few times before, but this is the most difficult one I've ever worked with... It's fun, but we're constantly asking each other, 'I wonder?' as we explore."
When asked which cast member she thinks is the most mysterious, in reference to the fact that the heroine she plays in this film, Nella, is a mysterious character, she mentioned Abe, saying, "I've met him many times, but I never know what he's thinking (laughs). But he makes me feel that it's okay not to know him, and that it's fine for him to remain mysterious forever."
The drama is an original work by Shizuka Oishi , who also wrote the popular NHK Taiga drama " Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e) " last year. The story is about a bachelor lawyer, Harada Kotaro (Abe), who is attracted to and marries Suzuki Nerla (Matsu), a mysterious high school art teacher, but Nerla is hiding a huge secret... This is a story that questions the love between a husband and wife.
