Talent and actor Yuka Kageyama appeared at a press conference held in Tokyo on July 2nd for the drama series "Good evening, this is the Asayama family" (ABC TV/TV Asahi, Sunday 10:15pm *First episode at 10:30pm), which starts on the 6th. She revealed that she witnessed her co-star Anne Nakamura "losing her temper" in the dressing room.
The drama is based on the serial diary "Going Backwards" by screenwriter Shin Adachi, who has also been a topic of discussion for the NHK Asadora drama "Boogie Woogie" in the second half of 2023, and Adachi himself will be the scriptwriter and director. This is a home drama in which Asako (Nakamura Anne), an angry wife, and Kenta Asayama (Ozawa Yukiyoshi), a screenwriter who works on national dramas but is a "disappointing husband" at home, overcome the family's difficulties through repeated conflicts.
This is Kageyama's first time playing a teacher. He played a high school student in the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Mikami Sensei" in January, but he said with a smile, "I had been playing a student role until three months ago, so there was a gap, but I learned a lot from being able to act in both positions."
He also revealed that the Asayama family, played by Ozawa, Nakamura, Watanabe Miyu, and Shimada Tetsuta, had a family-like atmosphere even outside of showtime, saying, "I was chatting with Ann in a friendly manner, but the moment I entered the dressing room, Tetsuta said to me (in an angry voice), 'What are you doing!' (laughs). It felt like I was getting a peek inside a family room." Nakamura nodded and said, "It naturally became that kind of atmosphere (even outside of showtime) (laughs)."
