This year marks the double anniversary of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the six-member rock band "UVERworld" and the 20th anniversary of their debut. A special program titled "3 Months in a Row! UVERworld 25th Anniversary & 20th Anniversary Special" will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW from September to November. Both programs will be centered around the concert held at Tokyo Dome (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) on June 14th and 15th.
In September, UVERworld will be broadcasting and streaming an exclusive program entitled "UVERworld THE LIVE 2025 at Shibuya eggman," which will feature footage of the live performance held at Shibuya eggman (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on June 11th as a "pre-party" prior to their Tokyo Dome concert, as well as footage of their live performance held in their hometown of Shiga on the 6th of the same month, which is the anniversary of their formation. Both performances were open only to fan club members.
WOWOW will exclusively broadcast and stream the second day of the live performance at the Tokyo Dome in October, marking the third time the group has performed there, following performances in 2010 and 2019. The program will also include footage of the group's annual Christmas concert held at Nippon Budokan (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on December 25, 2024.
The three-month feature will conclude in November with two programs. The first is titled "UVERworld 15&10 Anniversary Live 2015.09.03" and will broadcast and stream the live performance held at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) in 2015 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the band's formation and the 10th anniversary of their debut. The performance was recorded on September 3rd, out of the four-day live performance.
The other video, "UVERworld QUEEN'S PARTY at Nippon Budokan 2018.12.21," will broadcast and stream the "Onna Matsuri," a live concert for female audiences only, held at Nippon Budokan (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on vocalist TAKUYA∞'s birthday in 2018.
All special programs will be archived and available for one week after they have been broadcast or streamed.
