The drama series "Mamono（Monster）" starring actress Kumiko Aso(TV Asahi, Friday 11:15pm *except in some areas). The plot and stills from the final episode, which will air on June 13th, have been released.
The courtroom is filled with spectators. Lawyer Ayame Kajin (played by Aso) mutters with a blank look in her eyes, "What was the purpose of that crime?" The trial of a murder case has begun.
One year ago. Minamoto Touya (Akihisa Shiono) appeared in front of Ayame with a quiet insanity. He slowly approached Ayame, not even noticing Yoko Mogami (Misuzu Kanno) who was pushed down the stairs and bleeding. Ayame desperately resisted Touya, who had turned into an uncontrollable "demon", while shedding tears.

At that time, his wife, Natsune (Kana Kita), who had been beaten by Toya and had fainted, woke up and fled to the Nada residence with only the clothes on her back and witnessed the gruesome scene. The script was written by Erika Seki. It is a joint production between TV Asahi and South Korea's SLL, which has produced global hits such as "Itaewon Class." It is a love suspense story in which a lone lawyer, Ayame, falls in forbidden love with a murder suspect, Toya.
