A new PV for the new "Ultraman Omega" special effects drama series has been released on YouTube, showcasing Ultraman Omega's powered-up form. When the protagonist Okida Sorato (Ultraman Omega)'s partner Hoshimi Kousei and his partner monster Meteor Kaiju communicate with each other, Meteor Kaiju transforms into weapons and armor, powering up Ultraman Omega.
The trailer revealed Ultraman Omega's Rekines Armor and Trigallon Armor. The Rekines Armor is a form in which Meteor Kaiju Rekines transforms from Kaiju mode to Calibur mode, becoming armor and a weapon to power up Omega. Omega wields a large sword called the Rekines Calibur, and can use not only telekinetic techniques, but also special moves such as electricity and high-speed slashes at enemies.
The Trigallon Armor is the form that Meteor Kaiju's Trigallon transforms from Kaiju mode to Claw mode and becomes one with Omega. The Trigallon's superior power and speed are absorbed into Omega, unleashing aggressive power. Its distinctive sharp claws, the Trigallon Claws, can slice through enemies in close combat, as well as release shock waves and blades of light.
The PV also featured the opening theme song "BRIGHT EYES" sung by ASH, the vocalist of the band "ASH DA HERO."
The main character of "Ultraman Omega" is Okida Sorato, an alien (Ultraman) who suddenly falls from the sky onto an Earth where there are no heroes or monsters. Sorato transforms into Ultraman Omega and fights monsters, and becomes a partner with the Earthling Hoshimi Kosei, and the series explores the question, "Why does Ultraman protect the Earth?" Takei Masayoshi, known for "Ultraman R/B" and "Ultraman Decker," is the main director, with Nemoto Toshizo and Ashiki Junichiro in charge of series composition. Actor Shori Kondo will play the main character, Sorato. The series will be broadcast on TV Tokyo affiliates every Saturday at 9 a.m. starting July 5th.
