It was announced on the website of her agency that actress Satomi Ishihara gave birth to her second child on May 17th.
The agency wrote, "Both mother and child are healthy. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us so far, and hope that you will continue to watch over them with kindness. Regarding future work, we will continue to prioritize her health and childcare situation, and will proceed in consultation with her."
They continued, "Today is not the child's birthday. We are unable to disclose personal information about the child, such as his birthday or gender, so we ask for your understanding."
Ishihara married a company employee of the same age in 2020. She announced the birth of her first child in April 2022.

This time, my second child was born safely. The doctor and midwife who looked after my first child three years ago also held my second child in their arms, and I was so moved that I burst into tears. I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, the people at my office, and the hospital for all their help and encouragement. I was also encouraged by the warm messages of support from everyone.
Thanks to everyone, we were able to start a new life together as a family of four. We will cherish and raise our second precious life. As we are in the midst of a seasonal change, please take care not to get sick. I sincerely pray that the world will become a place that is kind to all life.
