A new trailer and visuals for the movie "F1" (directed by Joseph Kosinski, to be released on June 27th), in which American actor Brad Pitt plays an F1 racer, were released on May 13th. It was also announced that in addition to the 2D screening, the movie will be screened simultaneously in the Japanese dubbed version, IMAX, 4D, Dolby Cinema, and large format ScreenX.
Legendary former charismatic F1 driver Sonny (Pitt) returns to racing to save the weakest F1 team. Sonny's unconventional behavior leaves his teammate, young rookie Joshua (Idris Damson), and the rest of the team perplexed and they frequently clash, but gradually they are led by Sonny's overwhelming talent and ability... This is the story. The film is directed by Kosinski, director of "Top Gun Maverick" (2022), and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is also listed as a producer.
The newly released trailer begins with a conversation between Sonny (Pitt) and Kate (Kerry Condon), the leader of the pit crew that supports the team. The team is confused by Sonny's unconventional behavior. Kate warns him, "You think you're a lone wolf? You may not know, but F1 has always been a team sport," but Sonny doesn't care. Next, in response to Joshua's provocation, "I can't believe you used such an old-fashioned guy," Sonny calmly replies, "Because I'm faster," giving us a glimpse of their rivalry, in which they won't give in to each other.
The video includes scenes of Sonny and Joshua undergoing rigorous training, getting into their F1 cars while keeping an eye on each other, and a breathtaking scene where they collide with a car traveling alongside and crash. At the end, Sonny is seen racing around the circuit, leaving all the other cars behind.
The newly released visual shows Sony in a racing suit standing next to an F1 car with its rear wing lights lit red. As the circuit turns red with the setting sun, what is in front of Sony's eyes as he gazes into the distance? This is a photo that raises expectations not only for the racing scenes but also for the human drama.
Furthermore, this film is "FILMED FOR IMAX" and was shot with IMAX certified digital cameras. In order to pursue realism, the cast themselves drove and filmed at actual circuits around the world. It allows you to experience the movie as if you were watching the race right in front of you. In addition to 2D screenings, it has been decided that the film will also be screened simultaneously in Japanese dubbed version, IMAX(R), 4D, Dolby Cinema(R) and large format ScreenX.
In the UK, it is also known as a land-based version of "Top Gun Maverick," and the setting has shifted from the sky to land, allowing viewers to fully enjoy this ultra-high-speed, "tactile" entertainment at over 300 kilometers per hour in a large format.
