It was revealed on the same day that the joint tour "Sonic Bridges Tour 2025" held by rock band ELLEGARDEN in collaboration with British rock band FEEDER at Tokyo Garden Theater (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on April 17th will be broadcast and streamed exclusively on WOWOW in August.
ELLEGARDEN was formed in 1998. With their explosive live performances and piercing melody lines, they attracted many music fans and became a central figure in the street band scene. At the height of their popularity, their fifth album became the fourth indie band to reach number one on the Oricon charts, and they announced a hiatus in 2008. They resumed activities in 2018, released their first full album in 16 years, and held a tour that attracted a total of 100,000 people.
ELLEGARDEN and FEEDER have been friends for some time, and are now holding a joint tour, "Sonic Bridges Tour 2025." Starting with the Nagoya performance on April 14, the band is currently performing 10 shows in 9 cities, including ELLEGARDEN's first European performance, in Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei, London, Paris, and Berlin.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream the Tokyo performance on the 17th in August under the title "FEEDER x ELLEGARDEN Sonic Bridges Tour 2025 at TOKYO GARDEN THEATER."
In addition, in September, a documentary program titled "Document of FEEDER x ELLEGARDEN Sonic Bridges Tour 2025" will be broadcast and streamed, closely following ELLEGARDEN and FEEDER's joint tour, featuring footage of their performances in each country, behind the scenes, and the latest interviews.
