The third episode of the TV anime "Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho," based on the popular fantasy novel by Nakanishi Motoo, "The Devourer (Part 1)," will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations starting April 14th.
Three years have passed since the Suga-ya incident, and Jinya hears rumors of a recent string of murders at his favorite soba restaurant, Kibei, run by the owner and his daughter. The bodies are all gruesome, as if they've been torn apart by an animal, and for some reason the number of dead bodies doesn't match the number of missing people. People in the town are whispering that it might be the work of a demon. That night, Jinya immediately heads to the scene of the rumors, where he comes across a woman's scream and a blood-stained skeleton.
"Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho" fantasy that depicts the story of a demon who travels through an incredible 170 years from the Edo period to the Heisei period. The anime will be directed by Kazuya Aiura and produced by Yokohama Animation Lab. It will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons.
