It has been announced that a selection of the anime "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War," based on Aka Akasaka's popular romantic comedy manga, "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - Memories Selection" will begin broadcasting on TOKYO MX and BS11 on April 6th. It will be broadcast every Sunday at 9:30 on TOKYO MX and every Sunday at 10:30 on BS11. A commemorative visual for the Memories Selection, which depicts the trajectory of Kaguya and Shirogane's red thread, has also been released.
"Kaguya-sama: Love is War" is set in Shuchiin Academy, a school for gifted students, and depicts the story of Kaguya Shinomiya, vice president of the student council, and Miyuki Shirogane, president of the student council, who are proud and believe that "if they confess first, they will lose," as they devise strategies to get the other person to confess. It was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) from May 2015 to November 2022.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2019, the second season from April to June 2020, and the third season from April to June 2022. A live-action movie starring Sho Hirano and Kanna Hashimoto was also released, which became a hot topic.
