It has been revealed that visitors to " Haikyu!! FAN PARK," a fan appreciation event for Furudate Haruichi's popular volleyball manga " Haikyu!! ," will be given away "Lyonso" tin badges, "Tamaden" clear files, "Hana Ururin" wet tissues, and "Weekly Shonen Vai" shopping bags as souvenirs.
The "Lyonceau" can badge features the logo of "Lyonceau", the French chocolatier where Tendo Satoru (graduated from Shiratorizawa Academy High School) works. The "Tamaden" clear file features the logo of "Tamaden", the owner company of "Tamaden Elephants", the club where Kindaichi Yuutaro (graduated from Aoba Johsai High School) and Onaga Wataru (graduated from Fukurodani Academy High School) belong.
The "Hana Ururin" wet tissues are the signature product of "Hana Ururin" wet tissues of "EJP (East Nippon Paper) RAIJIN", the owner company of "East Nippon Paper" to which Rintaro Kadona (graduated from Inarizaki High School), Motoya Komori (graduated from Itabashiyama Academy High School), and Tatsuo Washio (graduated from Fukurodani Academy High School) belong. The "Weekly Shonen Vai" shopper bag is decorated with the logo of "Weekly Shonen Vai", a manga currently being serialized, "Meteor Attack", drawn by Tenma Unai (graduated from Karasuno High School) and edited by Kyoji Akaashi (graduated from Fukurodani Academy High School).
New goods featuring key visuals drawn by Furudate specifically for the event and the " Haikyu!!" motif series will be sold in advance at the "Runrun Bazaar" (merchandise sales area). The lineup includes "T-shirt Key Visual White Free Size" (5,500 yen), "Oikawa Tooru's 'Sense is something you polish!!!' Toothbrush set" (1,430 yen), and "Faux Leather Flat Pouch Animal & Motif Ver." (2,640 yen).
The event will be held on June 7th and 8th at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City). It will be an event that brings together all kinds of "Haikyu!!" content, not just the manga. The exhibition area will consist of the "Exciting Gallery" where original drawings will be displayed, the "Gayagaya Broadcasting Station" stage booth modeled after a live commentary booth, the "Pyonpyon Gymnasium" where you can try out some physical attractions, the "Mogumogu Shopping Street" which recreates the food of Onigiri Palace and Sakanoshita Shoten that appear in the work, and the "Muddled Library" where you can read comics and novels.
There will also be a merchandise area called "Runrun Bazaar," as well as manufacturer booths where you can enjoy the various worlds of "Haikyu!!" including the anime, stage plays, and games.
"Haikyu!!" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2012 to July 2020. The story follows Hinata Shoyo, who suffered a crushing defeat in his final official match in middle school, as he reunites with Kageyama Tobio, a member of the opposing team, at the Karasuno High School volleyball team, where they move on to higher education, and the two of them aim to reach the top. The total number of copies of the comics, including digital versions, has exceeded 70 million.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2014, the second from October 2015 to March 2016, the third from October to December 2016, and the first cour of the fourth season aired from January to April 2020 and the second cour from October to December 2020. The first part of the new movie version "FINAL" series, "Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump", was released in February 2024 and was a huge hit, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide. There is also talk of a sequel, "Haikyu!! The Movie: VS the Little Giants", being produced.
