Sakina Ayakaze:Former Snow Troupe top star to become narrator for "Takarazuka Premiere" in 2025

It has been revealed that Sakina Ayakaze, a former top star of the Snow Troupe of the Takarazuka Revue, will serve as the narrator for WOWOW's Takarazuka Revue information program "Takarazuka Premiere" in 2025.

Ayakaze joined the Takarazuka Revue Company in 2007 as the top of the 93rd class. She made her debut in the Star Troupe's production "Sakura/Secret Hunter" and was then assigned to the Snow Troupe. Known for her tall stature and dynamic dancing skills, she played her first leading role in the 2010 Snow Troupe's newcomer production of "Solférino no Yoake" and has since gone on to star in newcomer productions five times, tying for the most in the company.

Since becoming the top star of the Snow Troupe, she has appeared in "CITY HUNTER/Fire Fever!", "Subaru of the Blue Sky", "BONNIE & CLYDE", and other productions, captivating many audiences. She will retire from the Takarazuka Revue Company in October 2024 with the final performance of the Tokyo performance of "The Rose of The Rose of Versailles". In December of the same year, she made her first television appearance since leaving the company on WOWOW's "Invitation to Takarazuka 'Sensational!' - With audio commentary by Sakina Ayakaze and Kiwa Asazuki " and "Takarazuka Premiere Sakina Ayakaze Special", and is scheduled to hold her first concert in May of this year.

Ayakaze, who served as the monthly narrator for "Takarazuka Premiere" which aired on March 29th, said, "When I heard that I would be involved with this wonderful program called Premiere throughout the year, I jumped for joy! Yay!!! I hope to continue to do my best throughout the month to help bring out the charm of the wonderful cast members of each troupe and the production, and above all, I will do my best to make the program enjoyable for everyone who watches it!!"
