Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho:TV anime OP NEE - Second PV released depicting a kind yet cruel fate

It has been announced that the band "NEE" will be performing the opening theme "Continue" for the TV anime "Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho", which is based on the popular fantasy novel by Motoo Nakanishi. NEE members commented, "We are very honored to be performing the opening theme for the TV anime ' Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho'. This is NEE's first anime tie-up. It is also the last song written by vocalist Kuu, who passed away last year. We hope that everyone will enjoy this story and song, which we feel very attached to."

The second PV was released on YouTube, and a part of the song was unveiled. The PV depicts how the gears of fate for Jinta, Suzune, and Shirayuki gradually go awry when a mysterious demon who speaks of the distant future appears in Kuzuno. The three are swallowed up by a kind but cruel fate.

"Kijin Gento Sho" is a "Japanese Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho" fantasy that tells the story of a demon who travels through the extraordinary time of about 170 years from the Edo period to the Heisei period. The novel is published by Futabasha. It has also been made into a comic book.

The anime will be directed by Kazuya Aiura and produced by Yokohama Animation Lab. TOC's solo project "Hilcrhyme" will be in charge of the ending theme "One Thousand and One Nights feat. Izumi Nakasone (HY)". Hilcrhyme has teamed up with Izumi Nakasone of the band "HY". Voice actors Taku Yashiro will play Jinta, Reina Ueda will play Jinta's younger sister Suzune, and Saori Hayami will play Shirayuki, the shrine maiden of Kudzuno, also known as "Hime Itsuki". It will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, MBS and others from March 31st. The first episode will be a one-hour special, and will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons.
