It has been announced that Nippon Television's Friday Road Show (Friday 9pm) will be broadcasting theatrical versions of the popular anime series Detective Conan for three consecutive weeks starting from April 4th. Titled the "Conan Festival", the show will air Detective Conan : The 14th Target (1998) on April 4th, Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths (2005) on the 11th, and Detective Conan: One million dollar guidepost(2024) on the 18th. This will be the first time that The Million Dollar Five-Pointed Star has been broadcast on television, and the full version will be shown uncut.
To commemorate the release of the latest movie "Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback of the One-Eyed" on April 18th, popular movies will be broadcast. Since Kogoro Mouri plays a key role in the latest movie, "The 14th Target" and "Intrigue Above the Horizon," in which Kogoro plays an active role, will be broadcast. In "The Million Dollar Five-Point Star,"Kaito Kid, and Edogawa Conan investigate the mystery surrounding Hijikata Toshizo's Japanese sword in Hokkaido.
For the "Conan Festival," a special video related to the latest work "Afterimage of the One-Eyed" will be broadcast at the end of the main story for three weeks. In the viewer participation content "Friday Road Theater" on the program's homepage, NTV's "Conan-loving announcer" Kawade Natsumi will participate in real time.
The March 7th broadcast of Studio Ghibli's "Tales from Earthsea" (2006) will also feature a special clip of "Afterimage of the One-Eyed" at the end of the episode.
