Fashion designer Junko Koshino will appear on BS12 TwellV's program "Tsurube-chan and Sawako-chan: Showa's Great Senpai and the Strange Two," which will be broadcast from 9:00 pm on February 3rd. She will talk about what inspired her to create costumes for the legendary music group "The Tigers," which included Kenji Sawada and others, and share an episode with world-famous singer Diana Ross.
The program is a talk variety show hosted by Rakugo performer Shofutei Tsurube and essayist Agawa Sawako, and began in October last year. Tsurube, who has 52 years of showbiz experience, and Agawa, who has 40 years of showbiz experience, are called "Tsurube-chan" and "Sawako-chan," and are "great seniors of the Showa era." They appear as guests in each episode.
Koshino, who is originally from Kishiwada, Osaka, will have a lively conversation with Tsurube, who is also from Osaka. She will also talk about her mother, Ayako, who was the model for the TV drama "Carnation," and about her first time participating in Paris Fashion Week in 1978.
