It has been revealed that the " Space Battleship Yamato Complete Record Exhibition," an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the broadcast of the popular anime "Space Space Battleship Yamato ," will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo from March 15 to 31. It will also be held in Osaka this summer.
The announcement was made at a talk show screening in Program 3 of the " Space Battleship Yamato Space Battleship Yamato , who hosted the talk show, revealed that the Tokyo venue was "at Seibu in Shibuya."
The " Space Battleship Yamato 50th Anniversary Commemorative Selection Screening" is part of the 50th anniversary project planned and produced by director Anno Hideaki, and will screen episodes selected by Anno. Program 1 will feature episodes 2, "The First Gun Shot!! Space Battleship Yamato Launches", 3, "Yamato Launches!! A Challenge to the 296,000 Light Years!!", and 7, "Yamato Sinks!! The Fateful Battle to Capture the Fortress!!", while Program 2 will feature episodes 16, "The Death Row Prisoners in the Dungeon on Planet Beemera!!", 18, "The Floating Fortress Island!! A Suicide Squad of Just Two!!", and 22, "The Final Battle!! The Battle for the Rainbow Star Cluster!!".
Program 3 will be screened from January 10th to 16th and will include episode 23, "It's Finally Here! The Magellanic Clouds Are Rising!", episode 24, "A Deadly Battle! God, Cry for Garmillan!!", and episode 26, "Earth, Yamato Has Returned!!".
The first Space Battleship Yamato TV anime was broadcast in 1974, and other works have been produced, including Space Battleship Yamato 2, Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato, Warriors of Love, and Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection. Remake series have been produced, including Space Battleship Yamato 2199, Space Battleship Yamato 2202, Warriors of Love, and Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage. The latest in the seven-part remake series, Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199, chapter 3, Gunjo no Asteroid, will be screened on April 11th.
