The Apothecary Diaries:New Year's visuals of Maomao and Jinshi revealed after the battle of Hagoita

The New Year visuals of Maomao and Jinshi from the TV anime " The Apothecary Diaries ," based on the light novel by Natsu Hyuga, which was born from the novel submission site " Shosetsuka ni Naro ," have been released. Maomao is dressed in formal attire and drinking sake, while Jinshi is eating zoni at his own pace. Circles and crosses are drawn on their faces in ink, and they appear to be taking a break after a battle of shuttlecocks.

A voice-over mini-drama depicting the outcome of the two's battledore was also released on YouTube, titled "The The Apothecary Diaries: New Year's Visual Special Video." The anime's official website is distributing wallpapers of the same visual.

The light novel The Apothecary Diaries" is published by Hero Bunko (Imagine Infos), and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity. The total number of copies of the original series has exceeded 38 million. The story is set in the glamorous harem of a certain continent, where a young poison taster named Maomao and a handsome eunuch Jinshi become embroiled in an incident that takes place in the harem, which is full of conspiracies and rumors.

The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon Television from October 2023 to March 2024. The second season will be broadcast on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)" from January 10th, every Friday at 11pm for two consecutive seasons.
