It has been announced that the final episode of the third season of the TV anime "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War," which is based on the final chapter of the popular manga "BLEACH" by Tite Kubo that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Conflict," will be broadcast as a one-hour special on TV Tokyo from 11:45 pm on December 28th.
It was also announced that additional cast members for episode 38 "FRIEND," which will air on December 21, will include Marina Inoue as Yugo (young Eugram Hashvald) and Chiaki Kobayashi as Buzz (young Busby). A preview video for the episode has also been released on YouTube. Eugram Hashvald is played by Yuichiro Umehara, and Busby is played by Yuki Ono.
It was also announced that Inoue and Kobayashi will appear on the "BLEACH" stage at "Jump Festa 2025" to be held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City) on December 22nd. Inoue commented, "I'm really looking forward to meeting all the passionate BLEACH fans on the BLEACH stage. On the day, I'd like to talk as much as I can about Kobayashi, Buzz, and Yugo. Thank you to all BLEACH fans!"
Kobayashi said, "I will do my best to ignite all of Buzz's emotions - his passion, anger, loneliness...and pass the baton to Yuki Ono. I look forward to your support."
"BLEACH" is a manga that depicts Ichigo Kurosaki, who has acquired the powers of a Shinigami, fighting evil spirits called Hollows with his friends and embarking on an adventure across other worlds. It was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2001 to 2016 and became one of the magazine's most popular works.
The TV anime series aired from 2004 to 2012, and four animated films have been released, as well as a live-action film starring Sota Fukushi in 2018. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc will be broadcast in four seasons, with the first season airing from October to December 2022 and the second season from July to September 2023. The third season is currently airing on TV Tokyo affiliates every Saturday at 11pm.
